Celtic appoint a familiar face as their new Player Manger
Dobbins takes over!
Seoul Saturday International league side Seohyeon Celtic have appointed Terry Dobbins as their new player-manager, following the decision of former boss Liam Hayes to concentrate on his fitness in a bid to help the teams progress.
Dobbins, 25, joined the club full time as a player after leaving Bundang in a complicated transfer and was part of the team that earned a promotion in Spring 2012. His part in Celtic’s first ever fixture in 2011 has already earned him a place in the history books and he is hoping that the coming season will further cement that position.
A club statement read: "Following 4 successful seasons under the management of Hayes and O’Duill who have established Celtic as a team we feel ready to try something new. Despite Terry being from Liverpool we do believe he has what it takes to bring more trophies to the club”.
Dobbins may be a rookie as a manager but he is a well known face around Seohyeon and popular amongst fans and players alike. During his time he has already collected a glittering array of nicknames – including 'Terry The Toe', 'Dobbo the Elf', 'Bundang Bastard' and 'Scouse Wanker'. He was also the first player to score a competitive hat trick for the bumble bhoys and earned much respect by showing up to games even whilst on crutches. Other less notable achievements include missing numerous penalties, laying drunk on the streets of Seohyeon and convincing Greg Zimmerman that Liverpool were a better team to follow than Everton.
The manager/midfielder/right back/supporting striker/substitute, has asked club captain Joey to stay on is his role as well as promoted Jun Young Baeg to his backroom staff.
‘Alright, I ehhh just wanted to focus on keeping a core of Celtic together whilst, ehhhh actually, looking to the future too. This season should be sound, I am made up to be the new manager, actually, alright, calm down’, said the charming Liverpool native.
With the team losing such stars as Gonzalez, Hogg, Corbetto and Will the management have already been active in the transfer window to find adequate replacements and with the return of Collins not far away fans have every reason to be optimistic for the new season ahead.
Celtic will continue their preparation for the new season with a testimonial match for William Yatscoff on August 24th with the season proper then beginning vs. old rivals Uzbek on August 31st.

Relegation but a bump in the road
Celtic lads disappointed but looking forward to better times
After a season of many ups and a few fatal downs the Celtic crew are gearing up for a new season in division two. Despite things not going exactly as planned it was another memorable season in Celtic's young history and fans are already looking forward to the new season with hopes high.
The players are also known to be in high spirits with any sad feelings being saved for those who will leave the team for pastures new. Team stalwarts and defensive machines Greg, Katie and Shawn were the subjects of a shock transfer swoop from emerging Mexican football power FC Taco Bell. The Mexican Saturday Lge Division 3 champions made an offer the Celts could not refuse and the three amigos reluctantly bid adios to the boys in green. Other big name departures include Derek 'Danger' Jones who has been signed by Filipino giants FC Cheap Living. Loyal fans are holding out hope that it is but a short term transfer but sources close to the Canadian keeper suggest he may have signed a two year contract.
However it is not all departure lounge visits for the Celts as a few new arrivals have been confirmed with Ethan Hill one of those who promises to delight Celtic fans home and away this season. Once other deals have been confirmed your diligent reporter will be sure to bring you up to date.
So with team life force Lenny Lovett back in the fray, and the rumoured returns of team legends Tommae and Terry 'The Toe', the future of Seohyeon Celtic looks bright (and I don't just mean the new jerseys).

A return for the Wolf Man?
Rumours abound regards potential Lenny return
Fighting Irish full back and co-founder of Seohyeon Celtic F.C Leonard James Lovett the first of his name, may well be making a return to the team. Fan message boards have been on fire this week with talk of leaked text messages which reveal that Lenny would 'bleedin' love to come back.' His move to the Spanish league whilst loudly trumpeted as a life long dream at the time has seemingly turned sour, with reports of fans 'being rude' and a distinct lack of Kimchi Jigae. If the rumours prove true Celtic could well be the ones to benefit with the Irish battler reluctant to join any other team. Most experts seem to believe that re-signing the influential legend would be a huge benefit to the club on and off the pitch as they fight to kick start their first season in Division 1.

New Season New Seohyeon
Celtic prepare for Division 1
After a successful 2nd season in which Seohyeon acheived promotion and finished as runners-up in the Cup the lads are now looking forward to taking Division 1 by storm.
The team and their fans are looking ahead to the new season with optimism tempered with a little uncertainty. Some players and fans have voiced their concerns at the step up in level, a fear quickly quashed by defensive stalwart Sean McBride;
"Ye cannae be talking that kinda shite comin into a new season. We're as good as any of these lads and whoever doesn't agree with me better hope I don't turn up early for the 1st game cos there'll be a nice new size 15 Predator boot waiting to kick their arses so there will be so there will."
The Northern Irish/Irish/Scottish defenders opinion is not one he is alone in sharing. Manager Hayes has also called on his troops to man up and prepare in the best way possible for the upcoming matches vs. Vanillains and Uzbek;
"We have a 100% record against 1st division teams so we have nothing to fear. There's been no relegation from the 1st division for 3 seasons so a few teams could be weaker than expected. It is definitely there for the taking. If we have the right attitude we can be celebrating come Christmas!." Boomed the manager.
With fan favourite Terry 'The Toe' Dobbins moving on, ever present Eddie on his way out and the future of certain individuals still in doubt the Celtic staff have been busy scouting for new players as well as securing the futures of members they already have. New signing Alex is already looking forward to making an impression and has worked hard in pre-season;
"Training I no like, but I do, because I am man. If you say I am no man I tear u limb to limb and put out cigarette in face. Thank you. "
With late season signings such as Symon and Kibom, as well as more rumoured new recruits Celtic fans have plenty of reasons to be optimistic. Strong showings in pre-season matches vs. Cameroon and Osan City have boosted fans' confidence and captain Joey shared some words of optimism;
"We all know how bleedin deadly we are on our day and I reckon we are gonna have loads of those days in division 1. We are well capable of challenging for the title and adding to that luvly trophy shelf there in Dublin bar. Speaking of which, Pint anyone?"
Whatever happens Celtic fans can be sure it will be a season to remember and they can keep up with it all right here throughout the year.

Up for the Cup
Celtic ready to give their all
After successfully qualifying for the Semi Finals Seohyeon Celtic's fans
and players alike are eagerly anticipating their clash with Kimchi Kickers this weekend. A win would see Celtic qualify for the final later that day where they would meet either Groove or Uzbek.
As recently as two weeks ago Seohyeon and Kickers clashed with Celtic the victors.
But Celtic captain Joey is not taking the Germans lightly;
"We must alles geben. It won't be leicht to beat this Mannschaft. But at the end of the tag we
must glauben that we gewinnen konnen. "
Manager Hayes has announced that he will be able to attend the game which has given the whole
team a boost - apart from Raman who fears Liam's wrath after photos of him laughing during
his managers recent injury circulated on many football sites. Raman denies any wrong doing and has accused
Keeper Derek of photoshopping the pics.
All controversies aside Celtic have been in fine form and with a full squad to choose from this weekend
are feeling confident that they can bring the cup home to Dublin bar.

Super Saturday
With Uzbek and Phoenix to clash in a title decider Seohyeon Celtic will take the 2nd promotion spot available should they beat Kimchi Kickers on Saturday the 9th of June.
Though many Celtic fans and players will be frustrated to miss out on the 2nd division title most realise that promotion has been the goal all along. To play amongst the elite of division 1 is the great reward on offer should Celtic prevail. Manager Hayes has done much to guard against complacency warning his team that a much improved Kimchi will await his side in Seoul this Saturday.
Celtic go into the game high on confidence after a morale boosting 5-1 beating of Groove FC and many players see anything other than a victory as unthinkable. Captain Joey voiced his confidence by saying ; "It is in our hands. We know we are the best team and we will show it on the day." His confidence was echoed by Jacob Choe, who between sips of a mid week beer said "We are number 1! We are number 1!" When informed that no possible combination of results could result in Celtic finishing first he took a big gulp and pronounced: "I am number 1! i am number 1!".
On fan forums Celtic fans have been keeping calm and hoping they will have reason to celebrate this Saturday evening.
"With Derek in goal, MVP Zimmerman alongside Silky Sean in the middle and our abundance of attacking threats we can't fail to win!" said Celticlover6969
"If we start well we will walk it, if not I still fancy us to battle our way to a victory" said Lenny5isaride.
"C'mon lads, keep the head! If we go a goal down just calm down calm down and we'll be right!" commented Dobbosleftboot.
All eyes will be on Celtic this Saturday and whatever the outcome it will be a dramatic end to what has been an exciting league season for the boys in green.

Zimmerman a doubt for Saturday after school office mistake
Gregory Zimmerman is a doubt for Saturdays fixture against Hudafekistan FC after an off the field mistake left his whole school's and Liam Hayes' plans in tatters.
Zimmerman was deskwarming happily when a slip of the finger deleted his whole school's lesson plans for March from the school network. Zimmerman is understood to be 'devastated' with himself but denies his mistake has caused a rift with any of the fellow teachers and more importantly Seohyeon Celtic player Katie 1 and club treasurer Katie 2.
Seohyeon club spokesman made a statement earlier today: " Gregs head is all over the place right now and who knows what state of mind he'll be in by Saturday's game."

J.F.K happy to be a supersub
by Seohyeon Celtic reporter J.D
Dong Hyeon Lee insists he has no qualms about acquiring the “super sub” tag following an explosive first month with Seohyeon Celtic.
The Korean striker made his debut for the Celts in early February 2012 and has already impressed, with an assist vs. Seoul Villains coming off the bench. It’s an incredible start, especially given that, he was reluctant to make the move at first due to a fear of (male) foreigners and after being on the end of a rough Lenny Lovett tackle within minutes of his first Pangyo training session.
“I don’t know what makes me effective as a substitute,” J.F.K (one of his many nicknames) says. “I don't have the answer.
“In football you can’t always come up with a reason, it’s not always because of this or that. I don’t play any different [whether I start a game or come on as a substitute].
“If I play one minute, 10 minutes or 90 minutes I try to play the same. My mindset is always to do my best and help my team. There are some times in the game when we will badly need to score and perhaps I can provide a little bit of luck.”
But is Donkey-Kong concerned that the more he makes an impact from the bench the less he’ll find himself in the starting XI?
“I just want to help my team,” he says. “I don’t care if I’m on the bench. The gaffer has the luxury of knowing he has me and other effective players on the bench – and my aim is to change my name from J.F.K to D.H.L as I will always deliver” he said with a smile on his face and a fluency which defies his shy manner.
Seohyeon fans are awaiting his competitive debut this weekend vs MSFC and one thing is for sure, J.F.K, Donkey-Kong, Dong Hyeon the lad, D.H.L, whatever name you know him by, is looking to make an impression – on the field and on the ladies watching.
